*HH Radhanath Swami about TOVP*
Vaishnavas die to live, and live to spread the holy names around. Bhaktivinod Thakur wrote this in honor of Srila Haridas Thakur who is empowerd by Lord Caitanya as the acharya of holy name.
Bhaktivinod Thakur prayed at Puri (like Advaitacharya in Navadvip prayed for Krishna’s decent) for an associate of the Lord to descend to spread Krishna consciousness, and Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakur was born.
In 1896, when Srila Prabhupada was born, Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati published a book called – Sri Caitanya, His life and Precepts. In 1922, upon his first meeting with his guru maharaj, Srila Prabhupada received instruction to spread the message of Lord Caitanya in English.
It was in Jagannath Puri, Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakur wrote his last message to Srila Prabhupada to preach in English. Srila Prabhupad made it his life’s mission.
*“Giving the world an opportunity to understand the life and the teachings of Lord Caitanya” – that was the purpose of all the initiatives of Srila Prabhupada, whether farm communities, schools, festivals, Rathayatras, etc.*
Mayapur Dham is the birthplace of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, the birth place of Sankirtan movement. It was at Mayapur that the Panchatattva came together for the first time to break open the storehouse of Krishna prema and distribute it to everyone without discrimination. They were begging everyone to take Krishna prema and Krishna sankirtana.
TOVP was the dream of Srila Bhaktvinod Thakur, Bhakti Siddhanata Sarasvati Thakur and Srila Prabhupada. For whatever reason people may arrive at Mayapur, they will see the beautiful forms of Panchatattva on the central altar.
HG Janannivas Prabhu, who never left Mayapur, is travelling all over the world, because he understands what his deities want. Let us try to support.
