కర్ణుడు కృష్ణుడుని అడిగాడు...

నేను పుట్టీపుట్టగానే నన్ను నా తల్లి వదిలేసింది..

అశాస్త్రీయమైన జన్మను పొందడం అనేది నా తప్పా..కాదే..

ద్రోణాచార్యులు నాకు విద్య నేర్పేటందుకు నిరాకరించారు..ఎందుకంటే నేను క్షత్రియుని కాను అన్న కారణంతో..

పరశురాముడు నాకు విద్యనైతే నేర్పారు కానీ నేను క్షత్రియుడిగా గుర్తింపబడేవరకూ ఆ విద్యనంతా మరిచిపోయేలా నాకు శాపం పెట్టారు..

పొరపాటున నా బాణం ఒక ఆవుకి తగిలితే ఆ ఆవు యజమాని నా తప్పు లేకున్నా నన్ను నిందించారు..

ద్రౌపదీ స్వయంవరంలో నాకు పరాభవం జరిగింది..

ఈనాడు కుంతీమాత వచ్చి నేను తన పుత్రుడిని అని నాకు నిజం చెప్పటం వెనకనున్న కారణం కేవలం ఆవిడ తన వేరే పుత్రులను కాపాడుకోవటం కోసమే..

నేనంటూ ఏదన్నా పొందాను అంటే అది దుర్యోధనుని దయాధర్మం వల్లనే..

అలాంటప్పుడు నేను దుర్యోధనుని పక్షాన ఉండటం తప్పెలా అవుతుంది అని చెప్పాడు కర్ణుడు...

దానికి కృష్ణుడు సమాధానంగా కర్ణునికి చెప్పాడు...

నేను పుట్టటమే కారాగారంలో పుట్టాను..

నేను పుట్టటం కంటే ముందే నా చావు నాకోసం కాచుకుని కూర్చుంది..

నేను పుట్టిన రాత్రే నా కన్న తల్లితండ్రి నుండీ వేరుచేయబడ్డాను..

చిన్నతనంలో నువ్వు కత్తులు , రధాలు, బాణాలు, గుర్రాలు ఇలాంటి శబ్దాల మధ్య పెరిగావు..

నేను గోశాలలో పేడ వాసనల మధ్యన ఉన్నాను...

నా చిన్నతనంలో నన్ను చంపేందుకు నా పైన ఎన్నో దాడులు జరిగాయి..అప్పటికి నాకు నడిచే వయసు కూడా రాలేదు..కానీ ఎన్నో దాడులు ఎదుర్కున్నాను..

నాచుట్టూ ఉన్న వారు వారి సమస్యలకు నేనే కారణం అని నన్ను నిందించేవారు కూడా..

నాకు సైన్యమూ లేదు, విద్య కూడా లేదు..

మీరందరూ మీ విద్యాభ్యాసం పూర్తి చేసుకుని మీ ప్రతిభలకు మీ గురువుల నుంచీ అభినందనలు పొందే వయసుకి నేను విద్య నేర్చుకునేందుకు నోచుకోలేదు కూడానూ..

సాందీపుని రుషి వద్ద నా పదహారో ఏట నా చదువు ప్రారంభం అయ్యింది..

నువ్వు నీకు ఇష్టమైన అమ్మాయిని వివాహం చేసుకోగలిగావు..

నేను నాకిష్టమైన అమ్మాయిని చేసుకోలేకపోయాను..పైగా నన్ను వివాహం చేసుకున్నవారు..వారు నన్ను కోరుకుని కొందరూ, నేను రాక్షసుల నుండీ కాపాడబడినవారు కొందరూనూ..

జరాసంధుని బారి నుంచీ కాపాడుకోవటానికి నా గోకులాన్నంతా నేను యమునవడ్డునుంచీ దూరంగా తీసుకెళ్ళాల్సివచ్చింది..

అప్పుడు పిరికివాడుగా పారిపోయానన్న చెడ్డపేరు నాకొచ్చింది..

సరే ఇంతకీ దుర్యోధనుడు ఈ యుద్ధం గెలిచాడే అనుకో నీకు మంచిపేరు వస్తుంది...

అదే ధర్మరాజు గెలిస్తే నాకేమీ రాదు...పైగా ఈ యుద్ధం మరియు యుద్ధానికి సంబంధించిన సమస్యలకూ నేనే కారణం అన్న నింద వేస్తారు అందరూ నాపైన...

ఒకటి గుర్తుంచుకో కర్ణా..

జీవితంలో సమస్యలు, సవాళ్ళు అందరికీ ఉంటాయి..

జీవితం ఏ ఒక్కరికీ పూలబాట కాదు..అన్నివేళలా అంతా సవ్యంగానే ఉండదు..

దుర్యోధనుడు అవనీ యుధిష్టరుడు అవనీ అందరూ జీవితపు దెబ్బలు రుచి చూసినవారే..

ఏది సరైనదో ఏది ధర్మమో నీ మనసుకి నీ బుద్ధికి తెలుసు..

మనకు ఎంత అన్యాయం జరిగినా..

మనకు ఎన్ని పరాభవాలు జరిగిన..

మనకు రావల్సినది మనకు అందకపోయినా...

మనం ఆయా సమయాల్లో ఎలా ప్రవర్తిస్తామో అదే మన వ్యక్తిత్వం...అదే చాలా ముఖ్యమైనది..

జీవితం ఆటుపోట్లు భరించామనో, మనకు చెడు అనుభవాలు ఎదురయ్యాయనో..అనే కారణాలు మనకు అధర్మమార్గంలో ప్రయాణించేందుకు అనుమతిగా (licence ) అనుకోకూడదు..మనం బాధపడ్డామని జీవితాన్ని చెడు మార్గంలోకి నడిపించకూడదు...ఏ పరిస్థితుల్లో అయినా ధర్మాన్ని వదులుకోకూడదు..అని కర్ణునికి కృష్ణుడు బోధించాడు..

Senior Citizens' DAY

Today it is  Senior Citizens' DAY. On this occasion we send Heartiest Greetings to all Seniors Citizens, & good wishes for active, healthy life ahead. 

The senior citizens may please note & seriously  follow  the undernoted cautionary advice. 

*A study in  the United States shows  That over 51% of Older people fall down  while climbing stairs. 

Every year, many Americans are killed by falling while climbing stairs.*

*Experts Reminder:* 

*After 60 years, these 10 actions should be avoided:*

*1. Do Not climb stairs.*

*If you must climb, Hold on firmly to Stair-case railings.*

*2. Do not rapidly twist your head.* 

*Warm up your whole body first.*

*3.  Do not bend your body to touch your toe.🤸‍♂ Warm up your whole body first.*

*4. Do not stand to wear your trousers. Wear your Pants while sitting down*

*5.  Do not sit up when lying face up. Sit up from one side (left hand side, or right hand side) of your body.*

*6. Do not twist your body before exercise. Warm up whole first.*

*7. Do not walk backwards.*

*Falling backwards can result in serious injury.* 

*8. Do not bend waist to lift Heavy weight. Bend your knees & Lift up Heavy object while half squatting.‍♀*

*9. Do not get up fast from bed. Wait a few minutes before getting up from bed.*

*10. Do not over use force in the washroom. Let it come naturally.*

One more important thing is that you must be active always and think positive. 

 LIfe has started now after all the years of hard work. 

Now it's time to enjoy life, take it easy and smell the roses.

I got this message in another group and was thinking what old age can do to us. I was meditating on each sentence and feeling the curse of getting this material body. 

Prabhujis and Matajis, lets do our best and most service while we are young and active, to lord Krishna. Because in old age we cannot do anything.

I was also thinking how Srila Prabhupada in the age of 70 left India for all of us and took soo much risk every single day.

Always remember these two lines from Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita

 _Janma Mrutyu Jara Vyadi Dukha Doshanu Darshanu _ 

 _Dukhalayam Ashasvatam_

If we remember these two lines we will not fall into the illusion that this material body and material world is for our enjoyment. Who ever will try to enjoy this will suffer.

Money or BhagavadGita

TRUE STORY

*Many years ago, on a Festival Day, a very Rich Man who had no wife, no children, no other family members, decided to invite all the employees of his Mansion to dinner.*

*He called the staff and asked them to sit at the table.*

*In front of everyone there was a BhagavadGeeta and a small sum of MONEY.*

*After everyone had their dinner, the Rich Man asked:*

*"What would you prefer to receive as a gift: this Geethaa or this MONEY?*

*Do not be shy, you can choose what you want. "*

*THE SECURITY GUARD WAS THE FIRST TO REACT:*

*"Sir, I would love to receive the Geeta, but since I have not learned to read, the money will be more useful to me."*

*THE GARDENER WAS THE SECOND TO SPEAK:*

*"Sir, my wife is very sick and that's why I need more money, otherwise I would choose the Bhagavadgeeta for sure!"*

*THE THIRD WAS THE COOK:*

*"Sir, I like reading to tell the truth, it's one of the things I like to do, but I work so hard that I never find time to flip through a magazine, let alone the Bhagavadgeeta. I will take the money. "*

*IN THE END, IT WAS THE turn OF THE BOY WHO TAKES CARE OF THE ANIMALS OF THE MANSION.*

*And as the Rich Gentleman of the villa knew that the boy's family was very poor, he stepped forward and said:*

*"Surely you too want the money, do you not?  So that  you can buy food to have a good dinner at home and buy new shoes? "*

BUT THE BOY,

as for him, surprised everybody with his answer:

*"It would not hurt to buy  tasty food to share with my parents and siblings. I also need a pair of new shoes because mine are very old. Even so, I will choose the Bhagavadgeeta because  I have always wanted one. My mother taught me that the Word of God is worth more than gold and that it is more tasty than a honeycomb."*

*After receiving the Bhagavadgeeta, the boy immediately opened it.  He found TWO ENVELOPES inside.*

*In the first, there was a CHEQUE  that was 10 TIMES  higher than the money on the table.*

*In the second, there was a DOCUMENT (Will)  that made him (whoever would choose the Bhagavadgeeta), the HEIR to all the wealth of the Rich Man!*

*Faced with the Boy's emotion and the astonishment of the other servants, the Rich Gentleman opened one of  the Bhagavadgeeta and read aloud so that everyone could hear:*

*The law of the LORD is perfect, it restores the soul;*

*The testimony of the Lord is true, he makes wise the ignorant.*

*The ordinances of the LORD are righteous, they rejoice the heart;*

*The commandments of the Lord are pure, they light up the eyes.*

*The fear of the Lord is pure, it subsists forever;*

*The judgments of the Lord are true, they are all just.*

  *They are more precious than gold, than a lot of fine gold; They are sweeter than honey, than the one that pours rays.*

*May God give us Wisdom and help us always to make the Right Choice.*

తాజా పళ్లు తీసుకుందామనుకున్న నాకు రద్దీ గా ఉన్న నాలుగు రోడ్ల కూడలిలో ఓ పళ్ళ దుకాణం కనపడింది, దుకాణం లో రకరకాల తాజా పళ్ళు ఉన్నాయి, కానీ దుకాణం యజమాని మాత్రం ఎక్కడా కనడలేదు,పళ్ళ రేటు రాసి ఉన్న కాగితం మాత్రం ఆయా పళ్ళ మీద ఉంది,  దుకాణం మధ్య లో ఓ అట్టముక్క వ్రేలాడుతూ నా దృష్టి ని ఆకర్షించింది, కుతూహలం తో దానిపై ఏమి రాయబడి ఉందోనని చూసాను, దానిమీద "అయ్యా! నా తల్లిగారికి ఆరోగ్యం సరిగ్గా లేనందున నేను ఆమె సేవ చేయుటకు సదా ఆమె దగ్గర ఉండవలసి ఉన్నది, కావున మీరు మీకు కావలసిన పళ్ళు తీసుకుని దానికి తగ్గ డబ్బు ను ఈ గళ్ళా పెట్టె లో వేయగలరు అని ఉంది.. 

నాకు ఆశ్చర్యం అనిపించింది, ఈకాలం లో కూడా ఇలాంటి అమాయకులు ఉంటారా? అని, దొంగలు ఆ గల్లా పెట్టె ను ఎత్తుకెళితే ఇతని పరిస్థితి ఏంటి? ఇతని అమాయకత్వానికి నాకు నవ్వు వచ్చింది, ఎలాగైనా ఇతనికి ఇలా చేయకూడదు అని గట్టిగా చెప్పాలి అని నిర్ణయించుకొని సాయంత్రం అతను డబ్బు తీసుకునుటకు దుకాణం కు వస్తాడు కదా అని నేను కూడా సాయంత్రం మళ్ళీ పళ్ళ దుకాణం కు చేరుకున్నాను, పళ్ళ దుకాణం యజమాని వచ్చి గల్లా పెట్టెను తీసుకుని  దుకాణం కట్టి వేస్తున్నాడు, నేను అతని దగ్గరికి వెళ్లి నన్ను నేను పరిచయం చేసుకుని నీవు ఎంత తెలివి తక్కువ పని చేస్తున్నావో తెలుసా? ఎవరైనా దొంగలు నీ గల్లా పెట్టె ను ఎత్తుకెళితే ఎలా? పళ్ళ ను ఊరికే తీసుకుపోతే ఎలా? అని మందలించబోయాను, అందుకు అతను చిరునవ్వుతో" అంతా దైవేచ్ఛ " అన్నాడు మళ్ళీ అతనే అయ్యా! మొదట్లో నేను నా తల్లి గారితో మీలాగే అడిగాను, నేను నీ సేవలో ఉంటే దుకాణం పరిస్థితి ఎలా? అని, అందుకు మా అమ్మ "నాయనా! నాకు రోజులు దగ్గర పడ్డాయి, రోజూ నిన్ను చూడకుండా ఉండలేను, నేను ఆ దేవున్ని ప్రార్ధిస్తాను, నీవు నేను చెప్పిన విధంగా చేయి, అని చెప్పింది, అమ్మ చెప్పినట్టుగానే ఆరోజు నుండి   ఈవిధంగా చేస్తున్నాను అన్నాడు, 

మరి నీకు ఏనాడూ నష్టం రాలేదా? అని అడిగాను కుతూహలం ఆపుకోలేక.. 

అతను అదే చిరునవ్వుతో "నష్టమా??? 

ఒకసారి ఈ గల్లా పెట్టె ను చూడండి అని అతని గల్లాపెట్టె ను తెరచి చూపించాడు, ఆశ్చర్యం! 

గల్లాపెట్టె నిండా డబ్బు! 

దుకాణం లోని పళ్ళ విలువ కంటే పదింతలు ఎక్కువగా ఉంటుంది,

ఇవి చూడండి అని దుకాణం లో రకరకాల వస్తువులు చూపాడు.. 

వాటిలో చీరలు, బట్టలు,స్వెట్టర్లు,అప్పుడే వండుకుని తెచ్చిన పులావు, రకరకాల తినుబండారాలు.... 

అన్నింటిపైన "భయ్యా! అమ్మీజాన్ కు మా తరపున ఇవ్వండి" అని రాసిన కాగితాలు ఉన్నాయి.

అంకుల్ అమ్మను నా ఆసుపత్రి కి తీసుకురాగలరు, నేను అమ్మకు ఉచితంగా వైద్యం చేయగలను అని ఓ డాక్టర్  తన విజిటింగ్ కార్డు ను ఓ కాగితానికి కట్ఠి దుకాణం లో వ్రేలాడదీసి వెళ్ళాడు..

ఇదంతా చూసిన నాకు కళ్ళ వెంబడి నీళ్ళాగడం లేదు,

సమాజమంతా స్వార్థం తో నిండిపోయింది, మంచితనం మచ్చుకైనా కనిపించడం లేదు అన్న నా భావన పటాపంచలైనట్టయింది, 

సమాజం లో మంచితనం ఇంకా బ్రతికే ఉంది, ముందు మన దృక్పథం లో మార్పు రావాలి, 

తల్లికి సేవచేస్తున్నందుకు గాను సాక్షాత్తు ఆ దేవుడే స్వయంగా అతని దుకాణం కు కాపలా కాస్తున్నాడు.. 

ఎంతగా కోపగించుకున్నా తిరిగి మనపై కోప్పడనిది సృష్టి లో ఎవరైనా ఉన్నారంటే అదిఒక అమ్మ ఒక్కటే! 

అమ్మ కు చేసిన సేవ ఎప్పటికీ నిరర్ధకం కాదు. Very Good message,everyone should read it

Moksha Patam

This children's game is considered to have been created by the 13th century poet saint Gyandev. The British later named it Snakes and Ladders instead of the original Moksha Patam.
In the original one hundred square game board, the 12th square was faith, the 51st square was reliability, the 57th square was generosity, the 76th square was knowledge, and the 78th square was asceticism. These were the squares where the ladders were found and one could move ahead faster.
The 41st square was for disobedience, the 44th square for arrogance, the 49th square for vulgarity, the 52nd square for theft, the 58th square for lying, the 62nd square for drunkenness, the 69th square for debt, the 84th square for anger, the 92nd square for greed, the 95th square for pride, the 73rd square for murder and the 99th square for lust. These were the squares where the snake waited with its mouth open. The 100th square represented Nirvana or Moksha.
The tops of each ladder depict a God, or one of the various heavens (kailasa, vaikuntha, brahmaloka) and so on. As the game progressed various actions were supposed to take you up and down the board as in life.

*The Leaking Bucket*

1. You're a very religious person following divine path but you don't lower your gaze when you see a member of the opposite gender. (A leaking bucket)

2. You wake up early morning trying to do your Pooja / Path but your mind is elsewhere and before you know it, you're done with your prayers (A leaking bucket)

3. You're very kind to outsiders/people in general and speak with them gently but with your own family you're always harsh/rude. (A leaking bucket)

4. You honour and treat your guests well but when they leave, you gossip about them and talk about their flaws. (A leaking bucket)

5. You try to read as much religious books, listen to Satsang /Keertan, participate in social services/ Sewa but you swear,  insult, curse daily. (A leaking bucket)

6. You help others but you're doing it to gain something in return from them and not doing those acts of kindness selflessly. (A leaking bucket)

7. You frequently advice/preach others on religious matters but practice none yourself.

8. You slander other devout persons out of hatred/spite when your views do not meet one another. (A leaking bucket)

9. You look down on others and feel more superior than them, judging their level of knowledge about religion based on external appearances (A leaking bucket) 

_We struggle to fill our Jeevans (the bucket) with Kamaayi of religious knowledge (the water), hoping it will retain inside but it is leaked by the many flaws (the holes) that we commit daily._

An excellent reminder for all, to try and patch these holes up so we may progress further on this beautiful path of life.

Between *October 13, 2019 and November 12, 2019* we are having Kartik/Damodar month. This is the month in which Krishna was bound to a mortar using a rope by his mother Yashoda. There are many pastimes during this month. During the Damodar month, if one performs even a small devotional service, the effects are multiplied many times. Following is a list of some of the glories of Damodar month. The glories have been taken from various Vedic scriptures.

1) Just as there is no yuga equal to Satya-yuga, no scripture equal to the Vedas, and no place of pilgrimage equal to the Ganges, so there is no month equal to Kartika. Even unserious persons who execute devotional service according to the regulative principles during the month of Karttika, and within the jurisdiction of Mathura (or Vrindavana) in India, are very easily awarded the Lord's personal service". During the Kartika month millions of devotees worship Damodara Krishna with ghee lamps and devotional bhajans, glorifying His playful childhood pastime of stealing yogurt.

2) "When one offers a lamp during the month of Karttika, his sins in many thousands and millions of births perish in half an eye blink."

3) "Please hear the glories of offering a lamp during pleasing to Lord Kesava. O King of brahmanas, a person who offers a lamp in this way will not take birth again in this world."

4) "By offering a lamp during the month of Karttika one attains a pious result ten million times greater than the result obtained by bathing at Kuruksetra during a solar eclipse or by bathing in the river Narmada during a lunar eclipse."

5) "O Tiger among sages! For a person who thus offers a lamp burning with ghee or sesame oil, what is the use of performing an asvasmedha-yajna?"

6) "Even if there are no mantras, no pious deeds, and no purity, everything becomes perfect when a person offers a lamp during the month of Karttika." 

This is just tip of the iceberg.

*What do we do?*

We bring Damodar deity to your place and offer ghee lamps. All we need is a small table to setup an altar. You can invite your friends and relatives for the program so that they can also benefit. We perform a kirtan while everyone performs arati and we have a small class for about 15 minutes. Then we take some prasadam and answer any questions the devotees might have. The whole program does not take more than 30 minutes. This is a great way to spread mercy to your friends and relatives.

*What do you need to do?*

You do not have to do anything except to invite your friends and relatives and spread the mercy. We can schedule the time to perform the program at your convenience any time of the day during this month. We will bring everything with us and we do this for *FREE*.

*Recession* ??

Banwarilal was a samosa seller in an Indian town. He used to sell 500 samosas everyday on a cart in his locality. People liked his samosas for last 30 years, because he cared for hygiene in preparation and selling, would use good quality oil and other ingredients, provide free chutneys with samosas. He would throw all unsold samosas to poor people, cow, dogs etc and did not sell unsold stale samosas to people next day.

 

Banwari earned good reputation and enough money from samosa selling and he never faced downfall in his sale in last 30 years. He was able to fund his son's MBA education in a famous private college in Noida out of his earnings. 

 

Recently his son Rohit completed his MBA and came back home as he could not get appropriate placement. Rohit started taking interest in his father's samosa business. He had not been involved in his father's business earlier as he considered that to be an inferior job.

 

During MBA, Rohit read a lot on recession. He read that it is coming up in global economy and how it will affect job prospects, increase unemployment etc. So he thought that he should advise his father of the risks in the business of samosa selling on account of recession. 

 

He told his father that recession may cause fall in sale of samosas, so he should prepare for cost cutting to maintain the profit. 

 

Banwari was glad that his son knows so much about business and taking interest in his business. He agreed to follow advice of his son. 

 

Next day, Rohit suggested using 20% used cooking oil and 80% fresh. People did not notice the change in the  taste and 500 samosas were sold. 

 

Rohit was motivated by the profit made by this savings. Next day he suggested  increased share of used oil to 30% and reduce the quantity of free chutney. 

 

That day, only 400 samosas were sold and 100 samosas were thrown to poor people and dogs. 

Rohit told his father that recession has really set in as predicted by him, so more cost cutting is to be done and they would not throw stale samosas but would fry them again next day and sell them. Quantity of used oil will also be increased to 40% and to make only 400 samosas to avoid wastage. 

Next day 400 samosas were sold but customers were not feeling good old taste. But Rohit told his father about savings because of his smart planning. Father told him that he may be knowing better, being educated.

 

Next day Rohit decided to use 50% used oil, do away with sweet chutney and provided only green chutney, made 400 samosas. That day only 300 samosas could be sold as people started disliking the taste. 

 

Rohit told Banwari "Look , I had predicted great recession is arriving and sales would fall. Now this is happening. We will not throw away these 100 stale samosas but would fry and sell them tomorrow." Father agreed to his MBA son.

 

Next day, 200 fresh samosas were made with 50% used oil, 100 stale fried samosa were offered for sale but only 200 could be sold as people sensed the drastic fall in quality. 

 

Rohit said that recession has really set in and now people have no money left to spend so they should make only 100 samosas and recycle 100 stale samosas and stop giving paper napkins . 

 

After this only 50 samosas could be sold . 

 

Rohit told his father " Now recession has taken people in its grip. People have lost income. So, this business will be in loss and they should stop selling samosas and do something else."

 

Now his father started shouting, "I did not know that they teach cheating in the name of MBA. I lost my money in getting your MBA education. In last 30 years of samosa selling, I never had recession but your greed for profit brought recession in my business and caused closure. Get out of my business and I will get it back to earlier level. If you want, I can hire you for washing dishes as that is the only thing you can do despite being MBA educated."

 

Thereafter , Banwari started following his age old wisdom and fair practices in business. Within a month his sale reached to 600 samosas.

 

*Recession is nothing but convergence of greed of government to extract more taxes, greed of big businesses to be more profitable by reducing quality and using unfair practices and also of careless arrogant employees giving pathetic service as long as profits are coming. Recession is the punishment given to businesses and government by people by restricting their spending.*

నెల్సన్ మండేలా డైరీలో ఓ పేజీ:*

‘నేను నా అత్యంత సన్నిహితులైన కొందరు వ్యక్తులతో మధ్యాహ్నం భోజనానికి ఒక #హోటల్కివెళ్లాను.

 వేయుటర్ వచ్చి #మాఆర్డర్ తీసుకువెళ్లిన తర్వాత కాసేపటికి మా భోజనం వచ్చింది. 

సరదాగా మాట్లాడుకుంటూ,

 మేం తినడం ప్రారంభించేముందు నా #దృష్టి #ఎదురుటేబులలో_ఒంటరిగా_కూర్చున్నవ్యక్తి మీద పడింది. 

అతని #భోజనం_ఇంకారాలేదు. 

నన్ను అతడు చూడగానే చటుక్కున లేచి #బయటకువెళ్లడానికి ప్రయత్నిస్తుండగా అతని ఖర్మ కాలి #భోజనంవచ్చింది. 

అతను #నిస్సహాయంగా_కూలబడిపోయాడు. 

నేనతణ్ని చూసి, పలకరింపుగా నవ్వి, 

నాపక్కన కూర్చోమంటూ, కలిసి భోంచేద్దామంటూ ఆహ్వానించాను. 

వెయిటర్ కు సైగ చేయగానే, అతడి భోజనం నా పక్కన పెట్టి వెళ్లాడు. 

#తప్పనిసరి_పరిస్థితుల్లో ఆ వ్యక్తి నా పక్కన కూర్చున్నాడు. 

మా భోజనం త్వరత్వరగా అవుతోంది. కానీ, #అతనికి_ముద్ద_గొంతుదిగడంలేదు. 

*చేతులు వణుకుతున్నాయి.* 

దిక్కులు చూస్తూ మాటిమాటికీ నీళ్లు తాగుతూ మొహం తుడుచుకుంటున్నాడు. 

మా అందరి భోజనం అయ్యాక అతను      సగం తిండిని కతికినట్టు చేసి వడివడిగా వెళ్లిపోయాడు. 

అతనిని గమనించిన నా మిత్రుడు బాగా _అనారోగ్యంగా ఉన్నట్టున్నాడు. అస్సలు తినలేకపోతున్నాడు. వణుకుతున్నాడు..!_" అంటూ ఓ జనాంతిక కామెంట్ వదిలాడు. 

_అప్పుడు నేను "లేదురా..! అతను ఆరోగ్యంగానే ఉన్నాడు._

*నేను జైలుశిక్ష అనుభవిస్తున్నప్పుడు నా సెల్ సెంట్రీ* ఇతను

 ప్రతిరోజూ నన్ను విపరీతంగా, అకారణంగా కొడుతూ హింసించేవాడు. హింసవల్ల నొప్పులు, బాధతో అరిచీ అరిచీ 

నా గొంతు ఆర్చుకుపోయి _దాహంతో నీళ్లమ్మని అడిగితే,_ 

_హేళనగానవ్వుతూ నామొహం మీద మూత్రం పోసేవాడు._ 

*మాఅమ్మ పాలకన్నా ఇతని మూత్రాన్నే ఎక్కువ తాగాను.* 

*మా అమ్మ ప్రేమను నేర్పితే, ఇతడు ఓపిక నేర్పాడు.* 

_నన్నిప్పుడు ఈ హోదాలో చూసి భయపడి, వణికిపోతున్నాడు._

 నేను తనమీద ప్రతీకారం 

తీర్చుకుంటానేమో, 

ఉద్యోగం పీకిస్తానేమో, 

జైలులో వేయిస్తానేమో..! 

_ముందే_ఊహించి కొని అలా  భయపడుతున్నాడు._

నా వ్యక్తిత్వం, నా నైతికత అది కాదు!

 పనికిరాని ప్రతీకారం మనుషుల మధ్య.  

 గోడలు కడితే, క్షమ ఒక్కటి చేస్తుంది!

 సౌభ్రాతృత్వం శాంతినిస్తుంది కదా..!" అన్నాను.
